A series of important achievements and awards were made based on PISA research. The research papers and works won the Third Prize for Papers in the 7th National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences in Institutions of Higher Education, the First Prize in the 11th Shanghai Municipal Outstanding Achievements in Educational Sciences, the Second Prize for Works in the 5th National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Educational Sciences, and the First Prize in the 6th National Award for Outstanding Achievements in Educational Sciences.

It promoted and organized Shanghai’s participation in the Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) developed by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), facilitated the improvement of policies related to Shanghai’s teaching workforce, and supported telling compelling stories of Chinese teachers.
