
YAN Wenle, female, PhD in education, research fellow with the Teacher Education Centre under the auspices of UNESCO, associate professor with Research Institute of International and Comparative Education of Shanghai Normal University, Class-1 think tank researcher of colleges and universities in Shanghai, and academic member and director of the Specialized Committee on International Competency Training of the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy. Her research interests are international organizations and international talent cultivation. She hosted one general research project of pedagogy “research on senior professional training of international organizations”sponsored by the National Philosophical and Social Fund of China for 2018, one general research project of humanities and social sciences sponsored by the Ministry of Education and 6 research projects commissioned by divisions and bureaus of the Ministry of Education in succession. She translated one academic writing of the World Bank as the first author, independently published one monograph “World Bank and Educational Development”, published over 30 academic papers on themes related to talent cultivation and selection by international organizations, as well as over 10 papers related to the World Bank and educational development, and has long been participating in educational decision consulting, while acting as an associate editor-in-chief of the “Journal of Comparative Education”, a Chinese core journal and source journal for the extended edition of CSSCI.
