ZHU Xiaohu received his master's degree in psychology in 2007 and doctorate degree in comparative education in 2016 from East China Normal University.  He is a researcher at the Institute for International and Comparative Education, Shanghai Normal University. His research interests includes student competency assessment, test and questionnaire design and financial literacy education. He has published more than 10 papers in the related areas and led or participated in several research projects.

Dr. Zhu Xiaohu's mainly work includes the implementation of the international large-scale education survey, and he is very experienced in this area. As the data manager, he engaged two cycles of Shanghai Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) from 2007 to 2014, then he start to work for the implementation and research in Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS). The results of Shanghai PISA and TALIS have aroused great repercussions and he was invited to many countries such as Japan, South Korea, Mexico, and the Czech Republic for academic exchange.
