Journal of Comparative Education is supervised by the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and sponsored by Shanghai Normal University. It is recognized as a Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) Extended Version Source Journal, a National Chinese Core Journal, and a Core Journal in the AMI Comprehensive Evaluation (New Journals) of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journals. The journal is a bimonthly publication, with the first issue released in February each year.
