Digital transformation of education is a key focus area of the UNESCO Teacher Education Centre. In July 2023, entrusted by SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization), Professor Ning Bo of our Centre participated in the compilation of the UNESCO Global Education Monitoring Report Technology in Education – Southeast Asia, providing typical cases of China’s digital transformation of education for the report.
The theme of the report contributed by Professor Ningbo’s team is Promoting the Digital Transformation of Education in Baoshan District and Reshaping the New Model of Education and Teaching, which covers the following aspects: key challenges in the field of education, main pathways to advance the digital transformation of education, typical cases of changes in teaching processes, platforms and mechanisms supporting the digital transformation of education, and a summary of experiences regarding key functions, system design, and practices.
